MAD FOR MADAGASCAR

Madagascar is amazing I don't want to leave this beautiful place!!!!! the animals are insane! its crazy how big the trees are, Speaking of trees today I took my camera up in to the trees and got some awesome pics! and even a video (down below i posted it) of i can't believe I'm gonna say it its so cool RING TAILED LEMURS!!!!!!! these animals only live on Madagascar and are very interesting creatures, there are many types of lemurs but i found out that this one type of lemur the Silky Sifakas happen to be an endangered species of lemur there are only a few 1000 left, but they are very pretty they are white except there face so i say that you one, research it, and see how beautiful they are, and last but not least SAVE THE SILKY SIFAKAS!!!!!!

  1. Ellie, thank you so much for the video. I loved seeing the lemurs in action. They look so civil to each other. I could also sense from your post that you are over the MOON excited to see the wildlife. I'm so excited for you. Would you mind finding out WHY these lemurs are so endangered? What about that island is not supporting the lemurs? Carolyn

  2. Carolyn,

THe silky sifaka is endangered because of the shrinking habitat the trees are coming down fast and there wildlife populated area is being filled with tourists and thats why I want to help the poor babys they are so adorable.

  3. I like the color of the lemurs' fur. They are really cool. Maybe when I visit Madagascar I can sleep in the trees with the lemurs so that I don't have to go to a tourist hotel. I can bring a hammock. Is it warm enough to sleep outside there?

  5. Ellie, did you ever pet the Lemurs? If you did, were they soft? I have always wanted to see if Lemurs were soft or not. Huh. Safe travels!!!! LZ

  6. Ellie, thank you for researching that for me! Poor babies, yes. I think it's ironic that the tourists who come to see the lemurs and other wildlife anywhere have the power--voice and money--to help save them, and yet their mere presence creates their destruction. Crazy, isn't it? Carolyn
